QA Engineer – Duck Creek (Manual & Automation)

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented QA Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing, along with hands-on experience in the Duck Creek Insurance Suite. The ideal candidate should have worked on Duck Creek Policy and Duck Creek Producer projects and possess a strong understanding of insurance domain testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Manual and Automation testing for Duck Creek applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
• Validate end-to-end business processes in Duck Creek Policy and Producer modules.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Identify, report, track, and verify defects using Jira/ADO.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of QA experience.
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy and Duck Creek Producer.
• Strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Strong SQL/database validation skills.
• Experience with Jira and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
• ISTQB Certification is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps is a plus.
