Job Description: Cyber Security Threat Analysts
Our organisation is currently hiring Cyber Security Threat Analysts
Core Technical Skills required
1. Incident Response
• Good understanding of IR lifecycle.
• Alert triage and severity classification.
• Log analysis across endpoints, network, cloud and applications.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework for mapping attacker TTPs.
• Malware analysis.
• Experience with case management tools (ServiceNow, JIRA).
2. SIEM Use-Case Creation / Fine-Tuning
• Preferable SIEM: Splunk.
• Good understanding of Splunk SPL query writing.
• Strong understanding of correlation rule logic.
• Ability to reduce false positives without creating detection gaps.
• Experience writing detection logic mapped to MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
• Understanding of data ingestion, parsing, and field extraction issues that affect use-case accuracy.
3. Threat Hunting
• Hypothesis-driven hunting methodology (not just IOC sweeps).
• Familiarity with threat intelligence feeds (OSINT, commercial feeds, ISACs) and IOC/IOA correlation.
• Comfortable writing custom search queries for hunting.
• Baseline/anomaly detection thinking.
(7) The Employee is required to work on a rotating shift of Morning Shift, Afternoon Shift and Night Shift.
Requirements:
• Associate
• Require one year experience or more. Fresh graduates with international professional certificates are encouraged to apply.
• Required certificate (at least 1) : EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker // EC-Council Certified Security Analyst // CCNA Cyber Security Operations // CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) // CREST Certificates
• Fresh graduates with the above professional certificates are encouraged to apply.
• Level 2 Analysts :
• 2 to 4 years experience required
• Required certificate (at least 1) : EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker // EC-Council Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator // EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional // Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) // Certified Red Team Operator (CRTO) // CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) // CREST Certificates
• Must have knowledge in SIEM, security event analysis, EDR, networking, operating systems and enterprise integrations, firewalls, routers, VPN devices
Soft-skills:
• Good leadership skill and team player, Independent and Decisive
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is important. Ability to articulate technically and non-technically is an advantage.
