Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Publishing Automation Engineer – Python to support and enhance our digital content production and publishing workflows. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication to help automate processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality digital content.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for digital content production and publishing workflows.
• Create and manage scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes. • Work with structured content and data formats to support content transformation and delivery.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with editorial, production, and technology teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor publishing workflows and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the content lifecycle.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend automation opportunities. Required Skills Problem Solving & Critical Thinking

Technical Skills
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Node JS, Extend script
• Proficiency in working with structured data formats such as DITA XML, JSON, and CSV.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with digital content creation, transformation, and publishing workflows.
• Familiarity with content management systems and publishing pipelines. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with digital publishing, educational publishing, or content production environments.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools and content transformation processes.
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and scripting is a plus.
• Experience working with XML-based publishing systems is an advantage. Experience
