Full Stack Frontend Architect (10+ Years Experience | Bangalore )

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Frontend Architect to serve as the technical anchor for their frontend organization and drive engineering excellence across a next-generation AI-powered design platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in frontend architecture, React, TypeScript, high-performance UI systems, and scalable application design.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will architect complex frontend systems, solve challenging performance problems involving large AI-generated canvases, design real-time collaborative experiences, and mentor engineers while shaping long-term technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities
• Own frontend architecture, module boundaries, state management, data flow, rendering strategies, and application extensibility.
• Define and drive frontend technical strategy through architecture reviews, RFCs, and engineering best practices.
• Architect scalable and maintainable frontend systems for complex AI-powered design applications.
• Optimize frontend performance across large documents, long user sessions, memory-intensive workflows, and rendering-heavy experiences.
• Build and improve complex UI systems including canvases, node-based editors, multi-pane layouts, and interactive workflows.
• Design efficient state architectures and reactive data flows for large-scale applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams on technical trade-offs, API design, and distributed system considerations.
• Establish engineering standards around testing, CI/CD quality gates, observability, and release reliability.
• Drive a zero-regression engineering culture through automation, monitoring, and quality practices.
• Mentor frontend engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering workshops.
• Raise frontend engineering standards across the organization.

Required Skills
• 10+ years of professional experience building large-scale web applications.
• 2–4 years of experience owning frontend architecture and technical strategy.
• Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing complex, high-performance frontend applications.
• Proven experience building advanced UI systems such as:
• Canvas-based applications
• Node-based editors
• Multi-pane interfaces
• Timeline-based tools
• Large-scale interactive experiences
• Deep understanding of modern state management frameworks including:
• Zustand
• Redux
• Recoil
• Jotai
• Reactive programming patterns
• Strong expertise in frontend performance optimization:
• Memory management
• Rendering optimization
• Large-scale UI performance tuning
• Browser performance analysis
• Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and frontend-backend architecture trade-offs.
• Experience establishing frontend engineering standards and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.

• Experience building AI-powered products or design collaboration platforms.
