Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Craft CMS Developer with strong expertise in PHP to join our US client project. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining websites using Craft CMS, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to collaborate directly with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-level websites using Craft CMS.
• Build custom modules, plugins, and integrations within the Craft CMS ecosystem.
• Develop scalable backend solutions using PHP.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and cross-functional teams.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Work closely with the US client during requirement gathering, sprint planning, and delivery.
Required Skills
• 8+ years of overall experience in PHP development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Craft CMS (mandatory).
• Expertise in PHP 7/8, Twig templating, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with MySQL and database optimization.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and version control.
• Familiarity with Composer and modern PHP development practices.
• Good understanding of web security, caching, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Good to Have
• Experience with Laravel or Symfony.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Docker and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Experience with Elasticsearch or search integrations.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
Mandatory Requirements
• Craft CMS expertise is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with US-based stakeholders.
• Comfortable working during US overlap hours (5 PM 2 AM IST).
