You’ve shipped apps to production. You know the difference between it works on my machine and it works for 10,000 users. You’ve debugged memory leaks at 2 AM, optimized startup time until it felt like a reflex, and you’ve never shipped code you weren’t willing to stand behind.

We’re looking for someone like that.

What We Build

Kuvaka ships production-grade mobile applications—no MVPs, no we’ll refactor later. Our apps live on devices, in users hands, solving real problems in healthcare, manufacturing, and enterprise spaces. You’ll work on:
• Cross-platform applications (iOS + Android) powering AI-driven workflows
• Mobile frontends for enterprise platforms that thousands of users depend on
• Consumer-facing apps with real uptime requirements and real performance constraints
• Custom client solutions built inside delivery pods on fixed 7-day sprints

Your Job

You’re not building features in isolation. You’re working inside a pod with backend engineers, product managers, and designers—all shipping together every week. Your responsibilities:
• Design and build native or cross-platform mobile applications (React Native, Flutter, or native stack—bring what you know)
• Own the full lifecycle: architecture, implementation, testing, optimization, and production support
• Collaborate closely with backend teams on API design and integration
• Debug production issues and ship fixes without ceremony
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to our codebase standards
• Participate in sprint planning, code review, and retrospectives

No hand-holding. You’ll be expected to take ownership from day one.

What We Need

Non-negotiable:
• 2+ years building production mobile applications (React Native, native iOS and native Android)
• Expert-level proficiency in your primary stack: React Native OR Swift and Kotlin (both iOS and Android)
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript (React Native) OR Java/Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS) fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with production app optimization: memory profiling, startup time, battery efficiency
• Real debugging skills: using DevTools, Xcode, Android Studio to solve production crashes
• Git workflow and code review experience in team environments

Solid to have:
• Published app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store
• Experience managing app permissions, local storage, and device APIs
• Familiarity with push notifications and deep linking
• Basic understanding of REST API integration and state management patterns

Nice to have:
• Firebase Cloud Messaging or similar backend notification services
• Experience with CI/CD for mobile (GitHub Actions, Fastlane)
• Biometric authentication (fingerprint/face ID) implementation
• Offline-first architecture or data sync patterns
